The ResMed ApneaLink Air is a compact, professional-grade home sleep testing (HST) device designed to screen for sleep apnea and other sleep-disordered breathing conditions. Simple to use and clinically validated, it records up to five channels of information, including respiratory effort, pulse, oxygen saturation, nasal flow, and snoring.
- Comprehensive Screening – Detects central and obstructive apneas, hypopneas, and flow limitations.
- Cheyne-Stokes Detection – Advanced algorithms identify complex respiratory patterns.
- One-Touch Operation – Intuitive design makes it easy for patients to set up and use at home.
- AirView™ Connectivity – Seamlessly uploads data to the cloud for remote clinician analysis.
The ApneaLink Air is the gold standard for affordable, accurate, and comfortable sleep diagnostics in the home environment.

Setup & Use 📘
Setup & Use 📘
The ApneaLink Air goes beyond basic screening. It records five distinct channels of data: respiratory effort (via a chest belt), nasal airflow (via cannula), oxygen saturation (via pulse oximeter), pulse rate, and snoring. This comprehensive data collection allows sleep specialists to calculate your AHI (Apnea-Hypopnea Index) with precision and determine the severity of your condition.
Cheyne-Stokes Probability Detection
Unlike basic screeners, the ApneaLink Air features sophisticated algorithms capable of detecting Cheyne-Stokes Respiration (CSR). This is a specific breathing pattern often associated with heart failure or central sleep apnea. By identifying these complex patterns, the device helps clinicians distinguish between simple obstructive apnea and more complex respiratory issues.
User-Friendly Design
Designed specifically for unassisted home use, the device eliminates confusion. It features a simple one-button Start/Stop operation. Integrated test-complete indicator lights turn green to let you know when the device has successfully recorded enough data for a valid diagnosis, preventing the need for re-testing due to user error.
