The VAuto mode treats sleep apnea by maintaining a fixed pressure support while automatically adjusting the baseline pressure (EPAP) required to keep your airway open. This allows you to receive the benefits of the AutoSet algorithm with the added comfort of bilevel pressure support.

HumidAir™ Heated Humidifier

The humidifier moistens the air to reduce dryness and congestion. When paired with heated tubing, the Climate Control feature automatically adjusts humidity and temperature levels for optimal comfort based on room conditions.

Easy-Breathe motor & waveform

What is the difference between AirSense (CPAP) and AirCurve (BiLevel)?

The main difference lies in how the air pressure is delivered.

AirSense (CPAP/APAP): Delivers one distinct pressure (or slight relief on exhalation) to keep the airway open.

AirCurve (BiLevel): Delivers two distinct pressures—a higher pressure when you inhale (IPAP) and a lower pressure when you exhale (EPAP).

The AirCurve 10 VAuto is specifically designed for patients who need higher pressure support or who find breathing out against standard CPAP pressure difficult. It automatically adjusts these pressures throughout the night to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea while ensuring breathing feels natural.

Should I upgrade to a heated hose for the AirCurve 10?

Upgrading to a heated hose is highly recommended for BiLevel users, as higher air pressures can sometimes lead to increased dryness or condensation (rainout).

With a ClimateLineAir™ Heated Tube, you unlock the AirCurve 10’s full Climate Control capabilities. The device will automatically detect the room temperature and adjust the humidity output to ensure the air delivered to your mask is warm and moist, preventing rainout in the tube.

You may want one if you:

Use high pressure settings (common with AirCurve)
Experience dry mouth or nasal congestion
Notice water droplets in your tube or mask
Sleep in a cool room

You might not need one if you:

Live in a very humid climate
Don't use the humidifier feature
Are already comfortable with your current humidity levels

Is the AirCurve 10 VAuto compatible with all CPAP masks?
