The AirSense 11 AutoSet model automatically adjusts the airflow pressure in real time based on your breathing patterns throughout the night. This helps ensure you receive the right level of therapy without needing manual changes to pressure settings.

Integrated Heated Humidifier with Climate Control

An integrated humidifier moistens and warms the air delivered to you, reducing dryness and congestion. The Climate Control feature can automatically adjust humidity and temperature levels for optimal comfort based on room conditions

AutoRamp™ with Sleep Onset Detection

The AutoRamp feature starts air pressure at a lower, more comfortable level to help you fall asleep, then gradually increases to your prescribed pressure once you’re asleep. This makes it easier to start therapy each night.

Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR™)

To make breathing feel more natural, EPR reduces the airflow pressure exactly when you exhale. This prevents the sensation of "fighting" against the machine, making it much easier to maintain a steady, comfortable breathing rhythm throughout the night.

Should I upgrade to a heated hose for the AirSense 11?

We highly recommend upgrading to the ClimateLineAir™ 11 Heated Tubing, especially if you value comfort or sleep in a cooler bedroom.

When you connect the ClimateLineAir tube, you unlock the AirSense 11’s intelligent Climate Control Auto feature. This smart system actively monitors the ambient temperature in your room and automatically adjusts the humidifier and the tube's heat to deliver the perfect level of moisture.

The biggest advantage: Preventing "Rainout"If you use a standard unheated hose in a cool room, the warm, humidified air from the machine cools down as it travels to your mask, turning into water droplets. This condensation (often called "rainout") can splash onto your face and wake you up. The heated tube completely prevents this by keeping the air temperature consistent all the way to your mask.

You should strongly consider a heated hose if you:• Sleep in a cool or air-conditioned bedroom.• Frequently wake up with a dry mouth, sore throat, or nasal congestion.• Live in a region with cold or dry winters.

You might not need it if:

• You live in a very warm, naturally humid environment year-round.
• You prefer to use your CPAP without any water in the humidifier chamber.

Is the AirSense 11 compatible with all CPAP masks?

Yes, absolutely. The ResMed AirSense 11 features an industry-standard 22mm connection, meaning it is universally compatible with almost any CPAP mask on the market, regardless of the brand (including Philips, Fisher & Paykel, BMC, and others).

However, there are a few distinct advantages to pairing the device with a ResMed-branded mask:

• Optimized Features: Convenience functions like SmartStart and SmartStop are perfectly calibrated to work with ResMed's specific mask venting designs.
• Menu Integration: The AirSense 11 interface allows you to select your exact mask category (Nasal, Pillows, or Full Face) so the algorithm can fine-tune the airflow specifically for that design.

A quick safety note: If you choose a mask that features magnetic headgear clips (from any brand), please be sure to review the manufacturer's safety warnings if you or your bed partner have active medical implants, such as pacemakers.
