Turn off the G4 and remove the battery. Locate the latch button on the side of the column assembly. Push the latch and pull the old columns away from the device. Immediately remove the dust caps from the new columns and slide them into the machine until they click securely. Reattach the battery and plug the unit into AC power. The device will automatically reset the internal "Change Column" alarm.
