The DreamStation Heated Tube is an essential upgrade for your Philips CPAP machine, designed to maintain a consistent air temperature and prevent water condensation during your therapy.

Setup & Use 📘

Locate the air outlet port on top of your DreamStation humidifier. Align the 3-pin electrical connector on the end of the heated tube with the port and push down firmly until it clicks. Connect your mask to the other end. Use the machine's dial/screen to adjust the "Tube Temp" setting. Hand wash the tube weekly with warm, soapy water and ensure the electrical pins are completely dry before reconnecting.

Advanced Rainout Prevention

When warm, moist air leaves your CPAP machine and hits a cold bedroom environment, it turns into water droplets inside standard tubing. The DreamStation Heated Tube features a copper heating coil wrapped around the interior that maintains the air temperature, effectively eliminating rainout. This prevents the startling feeling of cold water splashing onto your face and the disruptive gurgling sounds it creates.

Independent Climate Settings

Unlike systems that link heat and moisture automatically, the DreamStation setup gives you total control. When you connect this heated tube, you unlock the ability to adjust the tube temperature independently from the humidifier's moisture output. This means you can have high humidity with cooler air, or warm air with lower humidity, tailoring the exact climate to your personal comfort level.

Slim 15mm Flexibility

Despite housing heating elements, this tube is incredibly light. Using a slim 15mm inner diameter, it is much more flexible than standard 22mm hoses. This reduction in bulk prevents "tube drag," meaning the hose won't pull down on your mask when you shift positions in your sleep, helping to maintain a secure and leak-free seal.
